Overview

The Clock Tower, located in Tophane Park in Bursa, was first built during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Sultan Abdülaziz, but was destroyed in an unknown date in the 1900s. The Clock Tower, the construction of which was resumed on August 2, 1904, was completed on August 31, 1905 and II. On August 31, 1906, it was put into service by Governor Reşit Mümtaz Pasha in honor of the throne of Abdülhamit.
